Feng Shui is a Chinese system of aesthetics that has been in use from times immemorial. It involves all the elements that surround us like, geographical, religious, astrological and mathematical and aims to strike the perfect harmony between these so that we get to have relaxation, a sense of well-being and prosperity. It is an art form the sole purpose of which is to provide us with a lifestyle that is expressed through interior decoration.
 
There are many areas in the bagua that are related to Prosperity. The Prosperity Corner in the bagua has to do with luxury. It is a Power Corner in Feng Shui so it is due respect and reverence. It is a power corner because money is powerful. This is where you place your intentions for big things, vacations, houses, cars and "big ticket items".
 
When practicing Feng Shui, the objective is to improve the flow of Chi (energy). Sometimes the layout of your home or your furnishings and decor conflicts with or impedes the Chi. There are many ways or "cures" to remedy these situations. This article focuses on colors and "elements" that can be used as cures when a conflicting color or element is present.
 
My previous article gave you the bagua and what each section represents and the color and element associated with each. After looking at the properties of the nine areas of the bagua and comparing it to your house you may be concerned that things don't match up. Not to worry! That is what "cures" are for. Whatever the issue, there is a cure. We are going to deal with the Number One Cure in this article.
