The principles of Feng Shui are all based on positive and negative energies and how to utilize these energies to benefit in life. There are ways to approach Feng Shui clutter clearing in order to relieve the area of negative or stagnant energies that may have accumulated there.

Having a cluttered home is somewhat energy draining every day that it just sits there in plain view. The area can also be a negative influence as it blocks positive energies that could otherwise bring positive events into the lives of those living in the home. Blocks to any type of energy flow can lead to blocks in possible opportunities for the people living in that home.

Sometimes it needs a big boost or a spurt of genuine anger in order to find enough motivation to totally clean up the home without any regrets for anything that was thrown out in the process. Sometimes the excuse of having no time to do it is simply that, an excuse.

The bedroom is the first place to clear out when it comes to getting started with feng shui methods of clearing and cleaning. Meditation and relaxation need quiet places of rest just like the bedroom, and the calm balance and harmony of a bedroom’s energies can be disrupted when this is not cleared out properly, especially in places like under the bed and the closets.

Energy can also be blocked when there are many distractions inside the bedroom, so it is advisable to remove the electronic and exercise equipment that can just add to stress instead of being in a place to relax and recharge. Also, the balance and harmony depends upon the placement of the bed inside the room as this can maintain the balance of energies when a person is asleep.

The kitchen is the next place to take on feng shui clearing methods by clearing up the refrigerator, cleaning pots and pans, and stove. Cleaning out the light fixtures as well as drawers and surfaces is also conducive to allowing the energies to flow smoothly.

The receiving area of a home is also very important as this is also the first place that energies enter a home in order to find their flow within your home. If the entrance door is blocked by potted plants or any other pieces of furniture, this may block the flow of energies. It is best to keep this clear as well as the hallway closet in order to allow for free flow of Chi.

The main thing to do when clearing out clutter is to always know what to throw out once and for all, as most clutter is usually made up of items that you just did not have the heart to throw out. Remember, by not letting go of items that are really of no use to you now simply means that you will never be able to move forward in your life to try out newer things and changes that can be a positive thing for your life.

Accumulating many items that can just add to the clutter in your home is never a good thing when it comes to feng shui and maintaining positive energy flow. Just as the front porch is cluttered, so will your life be cluttered with all sorts of baggage that you really cannot handle unless you begin to change and embrace throwing out the things that have been holding you back from significant growth.

It is important that the living room of a home looks good and has a relaxing atmosphere to it. This is because it’s the main focal point of most houses. It is where guests in the house will be taken and where the family will spend a lot of time. There are several ways to make a room feel relaxed and look good but the best is to use some easy feng shui tips.

The art of feng shui is from ancient China and is thought to be over ten thousand years old. And since then it has become a practice that is used all over the world. The philosophy behind it is that there is a constant flow of negative and positive energy in nature. This also applies to the home. And to remove the negative energy and enhance the positive, all you have to do is arrange the furniture in a particular way.

In general, the sitting room will have the most furniture of all the rooms in the home, as it’s where the family will spend time. This makes it hard to apply feng shui but also makes it worth while as more people will benefit. Everyone who spends time in a room with positive energy will have a happy life, good fortune with money and good health.

Ideally the sitting room should never be anywhere except the ground floor. Also, when entering the house by the main door you should not be able to see into the sitting room. This goes for all the personal rooms such as bedrooms. These should be at the back of the house. But these can only be applied during the construction of the house.

One thing a rooms layout can affect is a persons wealth. In particular it is the left side of a room from the entrance that has this energy. If you have another door in this area there is negative energy. Your money can escape through this door. But there is a way to change this. To bring positive energy to this area, place a large plant there and make sure to keep it in good health.

The first thing about the position of your furniture is that it should allow easy access to all parts of the room, with no obstacles. Next, you want all the seats in the room to have their backs facing the windows or the main door, and close to or against the walls. If you have two couches do not have them facing each other. This is thought to cause stress between two guests who do not know each other. The best way is to have them in an l shape.

If you have any beams running along the ceiling do not place your couches underneath them. This is believed to put pressure on the people who earn the money, and could lead to hard times in the future.

Hopefully these tips will give you some idea of how to lay out your furniture. And if you do so, you and your family are sure to have healthy happy lives for years to come.

Your bedroom is the best place you can go after a long days work when you need to relax and get some rest. And rest is important to recharge for the next day. But maybe you find it difficult to sleep at night because you cannot relax. Maybe you are one of the unfortunate few who gets almost no sleep at all, an insomniac. You might have health problems or be worrying about money, but something that works for most people is feng shui for the bedroom.

Before you plunge straight into it, it is important to understand what it is. Feng shui is an ancient Chinese art. It’s a way of turning aspects of a room that are thought to be negative into positive ones by rearranging the furniture and fittings.

Everybody wants to achieve a healthy and peaceful life, and this is very important according to feng shui principals. With every thing positioned correctly you should find this comes very easily.

You can achieve this by correctly positioning the furniture of your bedroom. If this is not done, or tried but done incorrectly, the flow of energy is interrupted. And for anyone who sleeps in this bedroom, this will cause problems in their everyday life.

After the main door of your house and the kitchen stove, the most important thing is bed placement. And the first thing to consider is exactly where to place your bed. What dictates this position is the door that lets you enter the room. To achieve a good harmonious flow, the bed should be placed diagonally opposite this door. This represents you being able to see what is coming in your life, and therefore be prepared for it.

The cause of insomnia is believed to come from the bed being situated directly opposite the door. That is also thought to cause health problems. Also, you should not line your bed up with the door. This can cause sleepless nights by making you irritated and stressed.

If you have doors leading to a balcony, a terrace or any door that leads to the outside then you must follow the same rules for these doors too. This can really limit the places in your room where a bed can work, but to benefit from these principals you have to abide by them exactly.

The second thing to consider is the bed should never be positioned under a window. This is thought to cause poor health in the people who sleep there and have adverse affects on their finances. You should never have a mirror over you bed, next to it or touching it at all. It is believed that if the mirror is in the wrong place, then your relationships can be adversely affected.

An important thing is to have your bed against a wall. Stable energy is symbolized by this. And a firm headboard is needed, as this represents support from your family and friends.
